A Few days ago i recieved a mail from SOE (Sony Online Entertainment).
in the mail they where asking for planetside players to fillout a survey to help with the new planetside.
Help Us Design the Next PlanetSide Game
That’s right, you heard what we said! We plan to expand the PlanetSide universe with another game and we need your help with the design. After all, who knows the game better than you, our customers, the people who actually play it! Don’t worry about the original PlanetSide, it isn’t going anywhere.
We want to hear your opinion and to do so we have put together a short survey. The information you provide will play a critical role into helping guide the development and direction of the next hit Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter. As a loyal player and experienced shooter fan, we value your input and look forward to hearing what you have to say.
This Comes as some great news to current and old planetside players.
The mayority of the players where wondering if sony would let planetside just die and it seems that question has been answered.
It also seems that Planetside2.com got registered by SOE so its realy happening.

yes, on the microsoft press conference at E3 they announced it Left 4 dead 2.
its going to be with 4 black guys (Yeey no more fighting who gets to play the black one)
its going to be in new orleans.
and by the looks of it there are going to be dedicated melee for when the ammo runs out!

Its E3 time again 3 days till we are going to be pummeled by new releases, press conferences and other crap…. no booth babes tough…
the thing im most looking forward to is the new tech beeing introduced this e3

Like the new Wii motion plus and Microsoft their new camera motion captioning thingy for the xbox. also their brining BBC digital tv to the Xbox as the rumour goes. I also hope that On live gets a more expanded demo.

the biggest leak so far must be the PSP. it seems that images of the new PSP got leaked onto the web.

Their back. the most nerdy series in english TV history IT Crowd comes back May the 31st for their 4th season.
we can looks forward to Roy, Moss , Jen screwing up in the world of IT again.

Hey guys its been some time since i posted for the last time.
i’ve been extremely busy with looking for a new car and learning directx 10.
its also spring so its big network update time. im switching over to a full gigabit network.
and this blog will soon be running on a 1U atom 330 server (low power For the win).
also trying to get my mobile blogging tools to work

this morning i woke up with a awfull smell in the room ….. i reconized it at once i smell electricity.
It was my server that decided to go fiz boom now thank god it was only some hardware issue so it was fast fixed by replacing a few sticks of ram and the Powersupply.
There we go again … i come home after a few hrs of other RL stuff and the server is down…. im starting to think that there is more wrong in the machine …. so pretty soon im going to get myself some 19″ rack servers.

Dead before Dawn
l4dmods.com just announced that they are making the first new campaign/scenario in left 4 dead for the PC. They are Remaking the Crossroads Mall map into a full campaign.
the scenario/campaign is about the movie Dawn of the dead. and it will include the shopping mall from the movie. the campaign is going to feature 4 maps.
- The City
- Crossroads Mall
- Consumer World
- The Escape
They already made a campaign poster and are working hard at it by the looks of it.
Their also looking for some scripters Here.
They are running a contest to fill the rest of the mall with stores
you can design your own stores. if your submission is good enough your store gets added to left for dead so if your good with the valve hammer editor you can get your own store designed. Click here for the contest rules.
they are well underway…. only 1 show stopper. Valve hasnt released the SDK (software development kit) for left 4 dead yet.

Its been another nice Ride already to get this thing fully operational.
permalinks arent working propperly yet. email doesnt do anything yet. eventough there are enough help threads on permalinks but on getting mail working with wordpress there is little to no info available.
Hope to find some help on the subject soon so i can get that part of the site fully operational.
Edit : yeah just got some help setting it up what it turned out to be is that my sendmail was fighting with postfix eventough i uninstalled sendmail there where still enough parts of the software in there to screw with the postfix enough not to send out mails at all. now it does so its only the permalinks and them im ready to go

hey hey. just completed installing fedora core 5 on a second system. this linux core is gonna be configured to run games and to be as compatible to win32 software as possible.
this is gonna take some time… however first conversions are on their way soon ill be able to run Eve like it runs on a windows pc.
